Photography extraordinaire!

Phew, haven`t written a post in a while. Mainly because I have been very busy again, Thank God that stressful phase is over!

Which meaaans: I had time to do a shooting with my incredibly talented friend Laura from Lauragrafie ! 

We met at 9 o' clock in front of the Botanical Gardens in Munich, which is always a great place for taking photos, because you can go to one of the climatised gardens inside.

I guess the tropical one and the desert one are the most frequented. We did encounter an elderly woman, who seemed rather displeased that we were shooting Nat in a tight red bathing suit from Etsy designer Stacy @hisOpal.

She was going on and on, as some people sadly do. Preaching about morality. sigh
In my opinion. there are enough people holding themselves back from doing what they like. No thank you!

Which reminds me that my mom told me the other day I should stop watching Game of Thrones, because apparently, watching immoral things makes you evil.
Oh no, I must be the Demon Overlord then! Queen of the Damned, ha ha ;)

I want to continue shooting with Laura as much & as long as I can. It was only after those 5 hours of fun that I realised how much I had missed it. The creativity, the planning, the spontaneity, the laughter - there's nothing to dislike (well, except from bad weather maybe)

Thinking out Loud

Christmas Eve is approaching fast, more like galloping towards me like a horse frothing at the mouth. I am looking forward to seeing my family again, but I just despise Christmas shopping so much!!

So far I got about half of my presents and I thank Amazon.com deeply for saving my sorry skin *bow*

On the bright side, I have been creative with my dear friend Laura, who has been increasingly successful in her independent photography. She has her own store on Etsy now, you can go check her out :

It is on a whole new level, as she is getting clothes from designers shipped to her place and she then creates an atmosphere and takes photos.

As of Late, I have been doing the Make-Up & hair-do for her shootings and it has been so much fun.

I have my own set of Make-Up brushes now, as well as combs and an eyeshadow pallet.

It is an altogether new experience for me, but it is essentially not that different from painting pictures ^^

Although I have to watch my money, because I still have to send half of my stuff back home and need money for the train ticket - Yes, I will be returning to Germany next month!

Am secretly scheming to get my sister to come. I know being a grafic designer is demanding, but come ON!

I want to do her something good after all, it is beautiful here. 

My latest addiction is the Kimono Dress at ASOS - God, how I am craving for it!!! I feel like a drug addict, because I haven't got my credit card with me, which incidentally means Bye Bye to online shopping for now. It is Killing me! 

Now I know what the main character in Sophie Kinsella's novels feels like. Resquiat in Pace, shopaholic self. 

Have in fact another addiction that is actually doing me good - the App & website of 

Duolingo

I strongly recommend it for learning the basics of languages. If you are a lazy bum like me and would rather do other things than learning dry grammar and words - this does the trick! It has a game-like level system and you loose hearts when you make mistakes, but when you advance a level - OOOoooh, it feels so good!

It is so addictive I made it to Level 9 in two days! Now I cannot wait to try the other languages too.

... Will actually continue my french lessons now - Au Revoir!

Yesterday I went into town, doing all-out bargain shopping and ending up with new shoe blisters ^^-. Since I had a a huge hole where my friendship should be, I decided to call my pals. It all ended up with me staying at Liane's place, curling her hair and blabbing about guy problems.

Getting up at half past 5 wasn't so nice, but we had brekkie together with her little son Ludwig. He has a really cute giggle. And I finally found someone who likes eating dark whole grain bread for brekkie!!!

 After going to the postal, I visited my best friend Eva. I really needed to go badly, but I was told that the water pipes weren't working. By now I was practically hopping on the spot. Eva's mum just told me to 'fertilize the garden' with a mean twinkle in her eye. Ew! Thanks, but no thanks! That's when one of the workers called out: 'Pipes in order again!'. Bliss~
